SUPfix at MAGDEBOOT 2026: Two SUP boards become a catamaran

Magdeburg, March 12, 2026 – At the MAGDEBOOT water sports exhibition, the German company SUPfix presents a modular system that significantly increases the versatility of classic stand-up paddle boards in just a few minutes. With SUPfix, commercially available SUP boards can be enhanced without tools – from a comfortable seating system to a stable catamaran for several people.

The system allows paddlers to switch between standing and sitting at any time. If a break is needed, the seat can simply be folded forward, and the SUP can be comfortably used while sitting.

For additional stability, two or more boards can also be connected, creating a stable platform or a catamaran. The boards are connected by flexible yet extremely sturdy fiberglass rods. These compensate for movements on the water and ensure that the system remains calm and stable even in small waves.

Due to the low center of gravity when sitting, the SUP can be ridden much more relaxed, even in choppier water. This makes the system suitable not only for lakes and rivers but also for use on the sea in moderate wind and wave conditions.

Optionally, the setup can also be expanded with an electric motor. This allows longer distances to be covered particularly comfortably – ideal for tours, shared paddling, or relaxed cruising on the water.

SUPfix is developed, designed, and assembled in Germany. The modular system was specifically developed to make stand-up paddling more versatile, comfortable, and stable –
